韓国生まれ。ニューヨークと延世大学で学び、2008年に来日。18年にわたり、アドテク、マーケティング、EC、カフェの各領域で、海外発の事業を日本でゼロから立ち上げてきた。直近ではマンモスコーヒージャパンの創業代表として、日本法人の設立から日本事業を担当。東京都内で4店舗を展開し、1店舗1日1,000杯以上売る店に育てた。日経MJヒット商品番付（2026年上半期）にノミネートされ、八重洲地下街の優秀店舗表彰も受けた。日本語・韓国語・英語の3言語で事業をつくる。

Born in Korea, educated in New York and at Yonsei University, and based in Japan since 2008. For 18 years he has launched overseas businesses in Japan from zero, across ad-tech, marketing, e-commerce and cafés. Most recently, as founding CEO of Mammoth Coffee Japan, he led the business from setting up the Japanese entity onward, opening four stores in Tokyo, each selling more than 1,000 cups a day. The brand was nominated in the Nikkei MJ Hit Products Ranking (first half of 2026) and received an outstanding store award from Yaesu Shopping Mall. He works in Japanese, Korean and English.

東京理科大学工学部卒。本田技術研究所で8年間、航空機エンジンの研究開発に携わり、2017年に株式会社ikuraAIを創業。AI・シミュレーション・LLMを組み合わせ、製造・医療・建築などの産業で、流体・構造解析の自動化、社内文書を検索・要約するLLM、リアルタイム翻訳などを開発してきた。資金繰りから組織づくり、顧客開拓までを自ら担ってきた経営者でもある。価値があるのは賢い機械そのものより、人が生き生きと働ける時間を生み出すこと。その考えのもと、A.Karuizawaの技術基盤を担う。

An engineering graduate of Tokyo University of Science, he spent eight years in aircraft-engine R&D at Honda R&D before founding ikuraAI in 2017. Combining AI, simulation and LLMs, he has built automated fluid and structural analysis, LLM tools that search and summarize internal documents, and real-time translation for manufacturing, healthcare, architecture and more. He is also a founder-operator who has handled financing, hiring and sales himself. He believes the value lies less in smarter machines than in the time they give people back, and leads A.Karuizawa’s technology.
